In the Now The face of medicine is forever changing and it’s possibilities are limitless. Physicians now have cutting edge technology everywhere they go, at their fingertips!
What is Dragon Medical? The software has three primary areas of functionality: dictation, text-to-speech and command input. The user is able to dictate and have their speech transcribed as written text, have a document synthesized as an audio stream, or issue commands that are recognized as such by the program. Voice profiles can be accessed through different computers in a networked environment, although the audio hardware and configuration must be identical on both machines. The Professional version allows creation of custom commands to control programs or functions not built into NaturallySpeaking.
Why type when you can talk?

Q & A Q: Can I Install Dragon on my Server-Enabling Multiple Users? A: The only way Dragon can be used on a server is through a Citrix environment. Citrix must be installed on each workstation and properly configured. However, in this configuration Dragon will see all windows as a nonstandard window as such will have decreased functionality. Q: Can I use Dragon Medical on my MacBook? A: No. Dragon Medical is not supported on Macintosh computers. However there is a MacSpeech Dictate Medical on the market through Nuance. (TD is currently looking into this for future sales.) Q: Can the same user have more than 1 vocabulary? A: Yes. However they will only be able to use 1 at a time, they can not be used collectively. Q: Can 1 license be installed on multiple Operating Systems? A: Yes, as long as there is only 1 user profile and that is the person who purchased the software. Q: If I don’t purchase the additional support at the time of receipt, could I purchase it down the road? A: No. It must be purchased on initial order.
