Tech Teacher Game • Games are used in education to introduce subjects, for applying learning, promoting collaboration, differentiating and individual practice. • In the Tech Teacher Game, you will receive experience points (XP) for each task completed in the game. • Work from each task will be submitted through our class Edmodo account and badges will be awarded for successful completion of each level. • A class leaderboard will also be available to you so that you can check your progress as you move through each level. • The activities in The Tech Teacher Game are related to the NETs standards for teachers and will allow you to use your skills in collaboration and communication.
  • 13. Tech Teacher Game Great news! After submitting your online application you have learned that you are one of the finalists for one of five teaching positions at an exclusive, high performing, top notch school. If you get a position at this school, you will be expected to use technology with your students to design, implement and assess learning experiences that engage your students and improve their learning. In order to assess your technology skills, you must compete with other candidates in the Tech Teacher Game. The activities in this game are related to the NETs standards for teachers and will help the school determine if you are a good candidate for a teaching position at their school. Successful completion of this game will get you an interview at the school. Good luck as you pursue your dream job. Let the Game Begin!
