Hi! My name is Donna Thompson. I work for South Carolina Educational Television in Columbia, SC. I was in the computer support area for 12 years, helping others feel at ease at their computer. In August of 2004, I moved into ETV’s Education department to work as the Technology Consultant and Trainer for ETV StreamlineSC ( unitedstreaming ). Unitedstreaming was purchased and made FREE for all K-12 schools in our state. That makes my job of “selling” it to the teachers very EASY! I LOVE to work with teachers, showing them new tools for their classroom and watching them share ideas with their colleagues. I travel around the state to schools and conferences conducting presentations and hands-on workshops for all educators, showing them how easy it is to have video in the classroom. I LOVE to see their excitement as they begin to calculate the benefits for their students. I also work with Network Administrators, helping them to understand the benefits of the resource for their districts and sharing with them the many ways of implementation. I want every teacher in South Carolina to know about Streamline, get the training they need to use it effectively, and be able to enhance their lessons everyday with video. Partner

I have taught middle school and high school Science, Math, and English in public and private schools. I also worked at Richland County Public Library in Youth Services.
