    • A Scripting Language
    • Is an Interpreted Language
  3. Where is it Used?
    • To improve Design, Validate Forms , create cookies etc.
  4. Java = JavaScript ?
    • NO, both are different languages in concept & design.
    • Java is powerful & much more comples programming language – same as C, C++
  5. What can JavaScript do?
    • Insert dynamic text into an HTML Page.
    • React to events.
    • Validate Data
    • Read & Write HTML elements.
  6. What is Validation?
    • A Process of checking if something satisfies a certain criteria
    • Testify a solution or process is correct or compliant with set standards or rules
  7. Why use Validation?
    • To make the User do things you want to.
    • Like : a certain inputbox must contain only text/ only numbers/ a string of fixed length/ email etc.
    • To make the user to fill in a fixed no. of fields mandatorily.
