These activities are made for adults, who areinterested in learning more about team building and getting along withothers. Adults who are part of the work place, part of a team orinterested in leading a team will benefit from team building exercises.Being part of a team takes hard work and determination, it is notsomething that can be easily done, and may take a few team buildingexercises to fully grasp. When it comes to teaching adults how to teambuild, there are quite a few activities and methods that one can use.Below are some great ways to team build with adults of all ages.Team building exercises for adults:Where are you? Standing in a circle, each group member will receive atennis ball and will write their first and last name on the ball using apiece of masking tape and a marker. AVolunteer will collect all the balls in the crate and mix them up. Thevolunteer willThen throw the balls into the center of the circle. Every group member,including theVolunteer, needs to a grab a ball and then find its owner. The lastindividual to findthe ball’s owner will be responsible for recollecting the balls and thebeginning the process once more.Blanket name game: Have the group divide itself into two groups. On the count ofthree, drop the blanket so that each of the selected members are facingeach other. Whoever says the other person’s name first wins. Whoeverloses goes to the other team.Build a gum ball structure: Break the group into teams, one this is donechoose a team leader. The leader will direct the way the structure ismade. Each team member will have only one job, making it a teameffort to complete it. Once the structure is done, the group can talkabout what the struggles involved with the making of it were, as well asthe pay off of doing it right.There are a great many more of these activities that can be done, witha group or only a few people. These games were creating for thispurpose, making them the most effective way to teach proper teambuilding skills. You always have the option of hiring a company to comein and work with your team. These team building teams are highlytrained and able to work with large groups. The reason somecompanies choose to hire these team builders is to make the eventmore neutral, and allow the management staff to take part in theactivities as well.
