The results that companies have been seeing all overthe world are amazing. The productivity of the workplace will jump aswill the staff loyalty, making team building something every companywants in on. In todays market you must stay above the crowd, and benoticed. That is why your staff must be the best, they are the reasoncompanies thrive. If you are hoping to instill some team building ideasquickly and easily, this can be done.Without much hassle you can have a quick team building event, makingteam building not only a great way to see results, but easy to do. Beloware listed some quick and easy team building activities for theworkplace, and beyond.Numbers don’t lie:1) The group stands in a horseshoe formation. Count off down the lineso that each player has a number.2) The first person (Number 1 in the lineup) calls out someone else’snumber: “Twelve!” That person immediately calls out someone else’snumber: “Five!” That person quickly calls out another number: “Eight!”and so on. The first person to hesitate, at all, or call a wrong number(either their own or one that doesn’t exist), relinquishes his or her placeand goes to the end of the line. That person and all who werepreviously behind him or her in the lineup now have different numbers.3) As it continues, people will constantly “blow it” and have to move tothe end of the line. BUT here’s the hitch: Rather than grimacing orgroaning, they must raise one fist in the air and say “Yes!” withAll Rights Reserved © 2011 Team Building Activities HQ http://teambuildingactivitieshq.com

Everyone else must applaudadmiringly.Blind alphabet: Everyone grab a section of the rope and make sureevery other person is located on the opposite side of the rope withboth hands on the rope. Tell everyone to look around the room andfamiliarize themselves with the things around them. Have them do thefollowing activities, with both hands remaining on the rope at all times:1) Close their eyes and form an ‘S’ with their bodies and the rope2) Close their eyes and form a ‘C’ with their bodies and the rope3) Allowing only one of the end people to open their eyes and speak, have the group form a ‘Z’. The other people in the group can NOTspeak; maybe communicate by stomping feet or nodding, etc.4) Close their eyes and without speaking line up in alphabetical order bytheir first namesScissors communication:1. Have all participants sit in a circle facing one another2. The object of the game is for the participants to figure out thecommunication pattern taking place.3. The leader of the group should show participants the scissors in 3different positions (that do not match the words they are using todescribe them. You should fill in the blank with whicheverposition your legs are in at the time you receive and pass off thescissors.6. You may change the position of your legs between receiving themand passing them, or you may leave them in the same position. Eitherway, you should be discreet so that it is harder for other people in thecircle to decipher the pattern.7. Participants should attempt to figure out how the scissors are beingpassed and received each time they get them. The leader should letthem know if they are correct in saying how they have received orpassed them. These are only a few examples of how to can bring team building intoyour workplace, easily and quickly! All Rights Reserved © 2011 Team Building Activities HQ http://teambuildingactivitieshq.com
