This look helps the artist fit into the rock genre as it is a concept of the rock genre which helps appeal to the target audience. His body language also shows that he is intimidating as he seems defensive and angry due to his facial expression as he is pulling a straight face which portrays aggression which is typical of rock magazines. The man is also quite young which represents him as more rebellious and helps him fit into the genre more and portrays him in a youth way which makes him seem more intimidating.
