  • 4. HabitatThe Gray Fox Habitat is North America. Gray fox livethroughout most of the Canada, UnitedStates, Mexico, and Central America, and in partof northern South America . Some live in the farsouthern part of Canada. They are the mostcommon foxes of the southern united states.The gray fox’s back is the color of salt andpepper mixed together. Its under parts arewhitish.
  • 5. DietThe Gray Fox eats voles, shrews, and birds. InCalifornia, the gray fox primarily eatsrodents, followed by lagomorphs, e.g.Jackrabbit, brush rabbit, etc. In some parts ofthe Western United States such as in the ZionNational Park in Utah, the gray fox is primarilyinsectivorous and herbivorous. Fruit is animportant component of the diet of the gray foxand they eat whatever.
