Wayne’s work

 1. 1. Wayne’s Work
Front Yard
2. 2. Before…
Spring 2006
3. 3. Before…
It would be Spring 2008 before Wayne tackled the front yard.
4. 4. Driveway Demolition
Looked pretty when we bought it, but a crack in the driveway revealed a major repair was needed, in addition to straightening the weird curve. What a job THIS would be!
5. 5. Driveway Demolition
Not bad for 74!
Triumphant!
6. 6. Driveway Reconstruction
What next? Well… there’s that front entry that’s already half demolished and waiting for a new patio.
7. 7. Front Entry Demolition
Loved the tile Wayne put down when he did the foyer, but the cramped, narrow brick walk was settling unevenly; Wayne found a 4 ft deep hole below the porch; and he needed a new project.
8. 8. Front Entry Reconstruction
It was a messy business, but Wayne kept after the guys he hired to help.
9. 9. Entry Finishing Touches
After the patio was done, it was time for lights and a planter box to finish it off.
10. 10. Entry
We think the after is much more inviting.
And we hope you’ll come visit!
11. 11. Wall Work
A barren slope of rocky fill begged revamping…
So Wayne obliged!
12. 12. Wall Work
Grateful for helping hands!
Loyal, Laura, David, and the missionaries helped Wayne – while Linda took pictures.
13. 13. Beautiful Wall
Can hardly wait for Spring 2010!
Now for the garden…
