    You would always missed the best moments!
  • 5. Podcasts changed it all over night
  • 6. Podcasts allow you to watch your favorite moments again and again and again … whenever it suits YOU.
    Schedule times are no deal-breakers any longer.

    “A podcast is a digital audio or video file that is episodic;downloadable;programme-driven, mainly with a host and/or theme; and convenient, usually via an automated feed with computer software.”

    The term
    It is a symbiosis of the words "pod"—derived from iPod, a brand of portable media player produced by Apple and broadcast.

    The content can be accessed using any computerthat can play media files. The possession of an iPod is not mandatory … sorry Steve.
    The term "podcast" predates the addition of native supportfor podcasting to the iPod, or to Apple's iTunes software.

    The mode of delivery differentiates podcasting from other means of accessing media files over the Internet, such as direct download, or streamed webcasting.
  • 11. How to receive Podcasts?
    Podcatcher
    • A podcatcher, or podcast client, is a computer program used to download various media via an RSS or XML feed.
    • 12. The first podcast client software was developed in late 2003, and became popular in 2004.
    • 13. When Apple added “podcatching”to its iTunes software in June of 2004 it almost immediately became the most popular client, and development of many of the other slowed dramatically.

    Everybody can do it, everybody has a voice!!!
    The only thing needed is a microphone, a webcam or DV camera and a computer with internet access.

    4. Subscribeto receive future shows – automated download of shows via podcatcher when available.
