  1. Creating a Video for Prezi A How-To Guide
  2. Log into DE Streaming and search for animage of your subject. (Any available search will work, but DE works at school)
  3. Once you find the image you want, download theMEDIUM version to your hard drive.
  4. Go to www.findsounds.comto search for a sound effect.
  5. Deselect the sound file types except for MP3. Search for your subject.
  6. Right click on the file youwant and save the file to your hard drive.
  7. Open Photo Story 3
  8. Click to import pictures and find the image you downloaded earlier.
  9. Because the sound file is only 7 seconds long, you will want to repeat thesound. To do that you need several copies of your image. Insert the same image several times.Notice that this image has ablack border at the top. Toget tid of that click Remove Black Borders.
  10. This page will show you what the programrecommends. Choose Yes to All and save all the images
  11. There is one more thing you have to do to these pictures. They are set topan across the screen, but we want them to be stationary.
  12. Click Next in Photo Story until you come to thisscreen. Click Customize Motion.
  13. On the first picture Click the two boxes marked. Then Save. Then click the forward arrow to go to the second slide.
  14. On the second slide (and all the remaining ones) click the three boxesshown. Save. Repeat for all the remaining slides. Then click Close.
  15. The next thing is to add your audio file. Click thefirst slide and then Select Music.
  16. Find your file and click Open.
  17. Notice that the audio file is only over the first slide.
  18. Select the second slideand repeat the steps to insert the audio file.
  19. Repeat until all the slides have an audio file attached.
  20. In the next screen clickBrowse. Choose a place toexport your file. Rename it to whatever you want.
  21. The default location is My Videos in the MyDocuments folder on a PC.
  22. Also click Save Projectand name it the same as your video file. This allows you to go backand edit without having to start over.
  23. Click next and your video should start to "build".
  24. At this screen you caneither preview your video or exit the program.
  25. To upload to Prezi it is best if the file is an FLV flash file. Convert this video at Zamzar.
