    • Pledge to the Bible & Flag
      • I pledge to the Bible God's Holy word, and will take it as a lamp unto my feet, a light unto my path, and hide it's words in my heart that I may not sin against God.
      • I pledge Allegiance to the Christian Flag and to the Savior for whose kingdom it stands, one brotherhood uniting all mankind in service and love.

    • Flamingo
      • Flamingos often stand on one leg, the other tucked beneath the body. The reason for this behavior is not fully understood. Some suggest that the flamingo, like some other animals, has the ability to have half of its body go into a state of sleep, and when one side is rested, the flamingo will swap legs and then let the other half sleep.
      • Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will know what God wants you to do, and you will know how good and pleasing and perfect his will really is. – Romans 12:2
    • THE GOAL: TO OBTAIN THE MIND OF CHRIST
      • If you try to hang on to your life, you will LOSE it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will SAVE it. (Luke 9:24 NLT)
    •
    • THE GOAL: TO OBTAIN THE MIND OF CHRIST
      • 1. I NEED TO KNOW CHRIST
      • But it was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit. For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s deep secrets. No one can know a person’s thoughts except that person’s own spirit, and no one can know God’s thoughts except God’s own Spirit. And we have received God’s Spirit (not the world’s spirit), so we can know the wonderful things God has freely given us. (1 Corinthians 2:10-12 NLT)
    • THE GOAL: TO OBTAIN THE MIND OF CHRIST
      • 2. I NEED TO SURRENDER CONTROL
      • Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit.
      • So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace.
      • For the sinful nature is always hostile to God. It never did obey God’s laws, and it never will.
      • That’s why those who are still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God. (Romans 8:5-8 NLT)
    • THE GOAL: TO OBTAIN THE MIND OF CHRIST
      • (God) cannot bless us unless he has us. When we try to keep within us an area that is our own, we try to keep an area of death. Therefore, in love, He claims all. There's no bargaining with Him. C.S. Lewis, “The Weight of Glory”
      • So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!” (2 Corinthians 5:20)
      • I have discovered this principle of life that when I want to do what is right, I inevitably do what is wrong. I love God’s law with all my heart. But there is another power within me that is at war with my mind. This power makes me a slave to the sin that is still within me. Oh, what a miserable person I am! Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin and death? Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ. So you see how it is: In my mind I really want to obey God’s law, but because of my sinful nature I am a slave to sin. (Romans 7:21-25 NLT)
    • THE OUTCOME: PERSONAL RENEWAL
      • 1. SATAN IS DEFEATED
      • One verse that you should never forget in your whole life is Hebrews 2:14-15.
      • When Jesus died he made the devil powerless. Why? So that we might be forever free of Satan and the bondage of fear that he had put on us throughout our lifetime. There are many types of fears that people in the world have - fear of sickness , fear of poverty , fear of failure , fear of people , fear of the future. The greatest of all fears however is the fear of death.
      • WITH THE MIND OF CHRIST
      • I AM FREE TO BE THE PERSON GOD CREATED ME TO BE
      • This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! (2 Corinthians 5:17 NLT)
      • Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:31-32 NLT)
