  2. 2. OUR LOUISIANA <ul><li>A team of scientist and engineers from Louisiana Tech , ULL , McNeese , and LSU conducted a research project to measure the baseline radionuclide concentrations in the soils and sediments of Louisiana. </li></ul>

THE RESULTS <ul><li>We found an amazing diversity. </li></ul><ul><li>Beautiful rolling hills in North Central Louisiana. </li></ul><ul><li>Fertile farm land in the Mississippi and Red River flood plains. </li></ul><ul><li>Swamps, bayous, rivers, marshes are teaming with life. </li></ul><ul><li>We have a unique heritage and a special responsibility . </li></ul>
