  34. 34. Tom M. Borba Jr., Golf ProfessionalGolf events are a wonderful way to build relationships for business andcharity. However, with so many events and the competition for playersand donations, how are you going to set your event apart? This is for thisreason why Tom Borba developed Premiere Golf Solutions.Through years of operating numerous golf events from a courseperspective, as well as developing a fairly intense marketingbackground, Tom has been able to develop golf events that succeed.Raised on a dairy farm in Southern California, Tom used to watch hisfather and grandfathers play and share their enthusiasm of the game. Bythe time he was 8, he was chasing after them on the course andwhacking balls into the cow pastures. It was through the dairy life wherea strong work ethic and dedication was bestowed at an early age.Toms teaching career began by assisting Scott Arthur in instructing San Diego State University golf classes atSinging Hills Golf Resort. In 1998, he joined Ventana Canyon Golf & Racquet in Tucson, Arizona, a multiple award-winning, 36-hole, Tom Fazio designed facility. Returning home in 2002, he took on Eagle Glen Golf Club in Corona,California, serving as Head Golf Professional and Tournament Coordinator until he decided to dedicate more timeto teaching and operating quality golf events.Working under Troon Golf and industry leaders as Bill Crist, Carl Lohren, Mike Hancock, Jody Mudd, and more, Tomhas been blessed by the exposure of operating high end golf facilities with personal touch service. His endeavorshave provided the operation of over 9,000 tournament rounds annually. The primary focus of PGS is to assistorganizations operate their events to ensure success. PGS has the experience and know how to make your event"one to remember". Personnel & Sub-contractors of PGSPremiere Golf Solutions is owned and operated solely by Tom Borba. While additional personnel may beutilized depending on the event itself, PGS does not utilize the services of subcontractors. Any additionalpersonnel, if utilized, would be golf and/or event planning specialists contracted through PGS to act solely asassistants to Mr. Borba. PGS assistants vary greatly depending on the event, the organization/participantsinvolved, assistance needed, scheduling, and other factors determined by Mr. Borba.
