  • 4. Estimated size of 2022 global online/digital education market will stand at a $4.47 Trillion
  • 5. Where will next wave of innovation come from?
  • 6. “Learning” part of education will increasingly become free
  • 7. Unbundling of research, learning and certification part of education
  • 8. “School” will take many forms Sometimes it will be self-organized
  • 9. Learners will create their own learning play list reflecting their own interest and goals
  • 10. The learning playlists might include accredited schools and include a variety of digitally mediated learning experiences
  • 11. Radical personalization will become a norm with learning approaches and support tailored to each learner
  • 12. Educators’ will diversify as many new learning agent roles emerge
  • 13. A wide variety of learning resources, networks and platforms will emerge to connect the learners and learning agents
  • 14. At some time these virtual communities will take ownership of learning in new ways, with physical becoming the support system
  • 15. A new wave of social innovations will help address resource and other challenges
  • 16. Diverse forms of credential and reputation makers will reflect the many ways people learn and demonstrate mastery
  • 17. Learns must acquire the knowledge, competencies and skills that prepare them to learn skills for future we cannot predict
