Often, teenagers areafraid to seek help when dealing with a bully for fear ofbacklash or embarrassment. However, doing nothing cancause the situation to spiral out of control and becomephysical or deadly.

  5. 5. CommunicateMany bullies are aggressive towards others because theylack self-esteem. If you are being bullied, tell the bully tostop or back off. Direct communication is the first line ofdefense against bad behavior.
