What is teaching with Moodle like? <ul><li>As the teacher you have full control over all settings for a course </li></ul><ul><li>Choice of formats for your course such as by week, by topic etc. </li></ul><ul><li>Course activities include Forums, Journals, Quizzes, Resources, Choices, Surveys, Assignments, Chats, and Workshops </li></ul><ul><li>Changes to the course since the last login can be displayed on the home page – (gives your students a sense of community) </li></ul><ul><li>Activity reports for each student available with graphs and details about each module (last access, number of times read) as well as each student’s involvement including postings, journal entries etc. </li></ul><ul><li>Mail is integrated : copies of forum posts, teacher feedback etc. can be mailed in HTML or plain text </li></ul><ul><li>You can define your own scales for grading forums, assignments and journals </li></ul><ul><li>Simple course creation! </li></ul>
