God's Invitation to EveryonePresentation Transcript
The bible says there are two things we must do to get right with God. Be willing to turn away from everything we know to be wrong. The keyword here is "willing". God can help a willing heart! and We must surrender our lives to Jesus.
Surrendering is when we put Him (Jesus) in charge of our lives.
When you do this a supernatural transaction takes place...an exchange at the cross where Jesus took the punishment due us....Jesus takes our old man that deserves punishment and can never live up to God's laws.... and in exchange He makes us a new creation in Him. We are born again. We now can walk in fellowship with God and have Jesus perfect record, His holiness which enables us to enter heaven, because God says only that which is holy can enter.
You may question and ask how is this God who says He wants relationship with me, how has He ever reached out to me? You may be surprised..... Firstly, Jesus died on the cross for you. It's actually an historical fact.
Secondly, God sends His people all the time into our life to be His witnesses and testify that He is true. Thirdly, God gives us a conscience so we'll know right from wrong. Fourthly, He has churches in your area who will testify of Him. All you have to do is visit one of them.
Fifthly, He created a world so beautiful it is impossible to deny God exists. And finally, Jesus rose from the dead to prove He was God and confirm everything He said was true.
And now He's reaching out to you today through this message. This is an invitation to accept God's invitation to you.
Just talk to Him today like you talk to a friend. Ask Him to make Himself real to you.
Take a step of faith, surrender your life to Jesus and be amazed at how your Heavenly Father will take care of every detail of your life and you will begin an awesome adventure as you walk with Him and allow Him to do His work in your life.
I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he wil be saved and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. - words of Jesus from John 10:9-11
