      • You might hear about ways to get commercial software or music for free, but this is usually illegal

    • In 1976, 21-year-old Steve Jobs started building computers in his parents’ garage with his partner Steve Wozniak. This was the birth of the Apple Computer, which now sells millions of computers every year.

    • Computers give you access to the world and the world access to your computer too.
      • Virus -a program intentionally designed to cause annoyance or damage to a computer
      • Hacker -a person who gains access to other people’s computers
      • Dishonest people- those who may want to cause harm by giving false or illegal information

    • Interview an adult and ask them what they believe were the 3 most important inventions of their life and why.
