  • 2. You know that littlevoice in your head?
  • 3. Yeah. That one.
  • 4. The voice that says
  • 5. The voice that says ATTACK
  • 6. The voice that says MISLEAD
  • 7. The voice that says INDULGE
  • 8. The voice that says BETRAY
  • 9. That one.
  • 10. Its wrong.
  • 11. Well, it can be.
  • 12. (But thats the point.) 
  • 13. That voice is your first instinct.
  • 14. And its hard-wired. Or close to it.
  • 15. It told cavemen:
  • 16. Fight!
  • 17. Run!
  • 18. Eat!
  • 19. Mate!
  • 20. hubbahubba
  • 21. In other words,
  • 22. To make the most ofthe power they had.
  • 23. To make the most ofthe power they had.And that wasn’t a lot.
  • 24. Which means...
  • 25. When you listen to that voice
  • 26. without questioning it
  • 27. When you act
  • 28. without thinking
  • 29. You might feel powerful.
  • 30. You might feel powerful.At least for a minute.
  • 31. But really,you’re giving your power away.
  • 32. You’re giving it toyour (inner) caveman.

  • 35. Youre not a caveman.
  • 36. Youre not a caveman. (Even if you act that way sometimes.)

  • 41. You have something he doesnt have:
  • 42. Second instincts.
  • 43. You can act.
  • 44. You can act. And think.
  • 45. You can think. Then act.

  • 48. Listen to it.
  • 49. (It’s trying to protect you, after all.)
  • 50. But question it.
  • 51. Doubt it.
  • 52. Tell your caveman:
  • 53. Stop.
  • 54. Listen.
  • 55. THINK
  • 56. Then act.
  • 57. ‘Cause that’s where the real power is.
