  • 1. This presentation is about:
  • 2. Global Warming
  • 3. Main Cause of Global Warming:
  • 4. Main greenhouse gases:Carbon Nitrous Methane C.F.CDioxide Oxide
  • 5. • The major source of CO2 is the power plants. These power plants emit large amount of CO2 produced from burning of fossil fuels for theCarbon purpose of electricity generation. About 20% of CO2 emitted in theDioxide atmosphere comes from burning of gasoline of the vehicles. • Methane (CH4) is 20 times as effectual as CO2 at entrapping heat in the atmosphere. Methane is obtained from resources such as rice paddies,Methane bovine flatulence, bacteria in bogs and fossil fuel manufacture. • The main sources of Nitrous Oxide (N20) include nylon and nitric acid production, cars with catalytic converters, the use of fertilizers inNitrous agriculture and the burning of organic matter.Oxide • The main sources of CFCs (Chlorofluorocarbons) are use of refrigerators, air conditioners and the production of spray and foam.
