    1.7.4 Example 2 - Presentation Transcript

    1. Example 2: Two series resistors are connected to an AC source. If there is 6.5 V rms across one resistor and 3.2 V rms across the other, calculate the peak source voltage.
    2. Vs = 1 + V2 V = .5 + 3.2 6 = .7 V 9
    3. Convert Vrms to Vpeak, using Vp = 1.414 Vs Vp = 1.414 x 9.7 = 13.72 V
