1.What is DOM? Dissolved o rganic m atter mainly refers to that some organic matter can dissolve in water and acid or alkali solution. DOM is one of the active components in the surface environment , It has very big effect on the soil of heavy metals in environmental behavior.
2 .Material and Method Material : sewage sludge ( collected from Tang Wang wastewater treatment plant ) .acidic soil and alkaline soil Method : 1.put 3 kinds of things in the conical flask. (1)1 gram sample of soil (2)10 milliliter DOM (3)different concentration of chromium nitrate [Cd(NO 3 ) 2 ].
2 .Material and Method 2.Shake the conical flask 6 hours. 3.Put the mixed liquor in the centrifugal. 4.measure the content of cadmium (Cd) in the filteredfluid.
3. Result and Discuss ( 1 ) the different effect of DOM on cadmium (Cd) adsorption in different soils . 1 Look at the curve ， if the soil had been mixed DOM,it would change the adsorption characteristics of cadmium (Cd). 2From the two pictures,we can see that there are two effects:acceleration and restrain .The two effects are connected with pH of the soil.
3. Result and Discuss ( 2 )t he different effect of DOM in the different levels of soils. The effects of DOM on cadmium (Cd) adsorption have large differents between the different levels of soils .In the yellow soil of mountainous region,Look at the two pictures,The effects of DOM on cadmium (Cd) adsorption in the level B is more than level A. pH of level A is same as level B,but TOC(Total Organic Carbon) of level A is larger than level B.therefore,The effect is connected with TOC of the soil.
4.Conclusion More e xperiment s have not been done,so conclusion is blank. TO BE CONTINUE...
