  • Whiritoa is the best beach ever!!! That is where I spend all of my time in the holidays. Whiritoa is a surf beach with a lagoon so it suits everyone. Whiritoa has a big Surf Club and many lifesavers including Bill Goodwin and 83 year old!!! I used to do nippers which is when you train from 6 years old and can become a professional lifeguard when 17 over.
  • This is Bill Goodwin he is 83 year old and is still one of Whiritoas best lifeguards. Lifeguards are very important to help us stay safe when you are swimming These are some of the famous saying you would hear at a beach Slip, Slop, Slap,Wrap Swim between the flags
  • Nippers is a club where you do fun activities on the sand or in the water. Every Xmas break there are 2 carnivals where you can win medals, as you can see I have won 3 bronze medals. So I guess that u guys are still a bit confused about nippers I will now tell you a bit more about nippers. (Telling the class what nippers are)
  • I have had a good nipper experience as I have won a few events at the carnivals. I will show you some photos at the end of the presentation.
