(ON A MINUTE SCALE) • ACUPUNCTURE INVOLVES THE INSERTION OF VERY THIN NEEDLES THROUGH THE PATIENT'S SKIN AT SPECIFIC POINTS ON THE BODY THE NEEDLES ARE INSERTED TO VARIOUS DEPTHS. • ACUPRESSURE IS SIMILAR BUT INVOLVES APPLYING PRESSURE ON CERTAIN PARTS OF THE PATIENT’S BODY

  • 5. OUR IDEA • USING ACUPUNCTURE/ACUPRESSURE TO STIMULATE MUSCLE TENDONS CAUSING THE MUSCLE TO MOVE. • THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED BY AN EXOSKELETON OR A BAND COVERING EACH TENDON
  • 6. IMPROVEMENT • MULTI TASKING • FASTER RESPONSE • STRONGER GRIP
  • 7. POSSIBLE PROBLEMS • MUSCLE DAMAGE FROM CONTINUOUS INSERTION OF NEEDLES • COST • IN CASE OF ACCIDENT THE DAMAGE CAN BE DISASTROUS. • NOT APPLICABLE FOR EVERY KIND OF HANDICAP
