Dr. Pedro Szekely is a Project Leader at the Information Sciences Institute (ISI) and a Research Associate Professor in the Computer Science Department at the University of Southern California (SC). Dr. Szekely joined USC ISI in 1988 after receiving his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University in 1982 and 1987 respectively. His research focuses on tools to help analysts, engineers and scientists clean, harmonize and integrate data from a variety of sources to produce datasets that they can analyze and visualize.
