    4. What is OXFORD TWESTIVAL?The First Oxford Twestival, in February 2009, was dedicated to Charity Water.We were entertained by the Funky Lammas and Ben Walker, author of Twitter Song.

What is OXFORD TWESTIVAL?Now we're excited to bring together Oxfam - a groundbreaking global charity that was born in Oxford - with the Catweazle Club, a weekly event that has featured some of the city's best performance artists for the past 14 years, as well as local social media professionals and Twitter users, who collectively represent our community of modern thought.

    7. Why OXFORD TWESTIVAL?We are meeting to collect money to support another water related cause – this time Oxfam’s water and sanitation project in Mali. We want to raise £1,000!

    8. Why this project?‘Project aimsThe project aims to improve the health ofapproximately 45,000 people. Using low-cost,appropriate technology, and working closely withcommunities and local authorities, we will:Improve access to clean, drinkable water with regularmonitoring to ensure water quality.-Improve sanitation facilities in the region’shealth centres.-Encourage safe practices through a large-scalepublic health and hygiene promotion campaign.-Enable community organisations and localauthorities to continue the development andmanagement of water and sanitation facilities andpublic health activities.’
