    • Streaming media are multimedia that are constantly received by, and normally presented to, an end-user while being delivered by a streaming provider.
    • Continuous stream of data sent in compressed form over the Internet and displayed by the viewer in real time.
    • User needs a player, which is a special program that uncompresses and sends video data to the display and audio data to speakers.
