Effective communications = efficient, useful, with impact communications

a) Examine existing infrastructure

Electricity/power
Telephone lines/fiber optics/TELCO tower
Modem/broadband
Wi-Fi/Hot Spot
Satellite disc/VSAT
Non-physical
SarawakNet

b) Identify issues, gaps & problems
Not accessible – rural areas e.g. Bario.
Limited coverage – pan-Borneo highway.
Slow connection speed – TM?
Expensive/not affordable – value for money?
Sustainability/reliability - ???

c) Proposed solutions
Add more infrastructure - quantity/quality.
Open the market to more TECLO and service provider to compete.
Adopt latest technology/best solution - WiWi
