BIOMASS ENERGY – Worldwide Exclusive Technology MORE ENERGETIC BIOFUEL WITH THE NEW POTENTIALIZER OF SWISS GROUP OF COMPANIES SWISS GROUP OF COMPANIES has developed a new technology for dehydrating biomass through a dryer which uses electromagnetic radiation to draw out the inner water from the cells of wood, agricultural and organic products thus increasing their calorific contents in a few minutes. The dryer is capable of dropping down the moisture to 6% and makes the biofuel so inflammable that it substitutes fossile fuel into the furnaces of electricity plants, sugar-cane mills, paper industries and others. This new system of increasing the energy of biofuel will be placed into the market in 2010 and it will offer several important advantages: more inflammability, more energetic power, more kilowatt per hour, less quantity of biofuel, less corrosion of furnaces, less waste of time, more financial rentability. Potentialized Wood-chip Potentialized Pellet   The electricity used for drying this material is insignificant if compared with the electricity which will be generated by the potentialized biomass. The dryer is built according to the buyer’s needs of production. In principle, we offer two basic sizes: a) SMALL SIZE, measuring approx. 9m long, 3m large and 2,75m high. Capacity per hour: 10 tons for wood-chips and 15 tons/h for agricultural biomass. We are now developing an optimization of this capacity which varies according to the moisture, density and weight of each single material. b) BIG SIZE, measuring approximately 18m long, 3m large and 2,75m high. Capacity per hour: 20 tons for wood-chips and 30 tons/h for agricultural biomass. Here too the numbers are likely to change because we are developing a maximization of the dryer’s performance.

The electricity consumption will be of approximately 60KWh/ 100KWh for drying 2 tons/h of wood-chips that can yield around 3.825,581 KWh (4.700Kcal/Kg). The relation “consumption-generation” of electricity is therefore 100KWh(consumption) versus 3.825,581KWh NOTE: here we have not considered other electricity costs, like conveyor belt, pannel control, several motors of the entire structure of the workshop. Nevertheless, the difference between consumption-yield of KWh will always be extremely favourable.

BIOMASS ENERGY – Worldwide Exclusive Technology POTENTIALIZER DRYER MADE BY SWISS GROUP OF COMPANIES Dryer’s Patent: MU 8700836 0 - Technology Patent: 018070055469 Construction of a microwaves dryer patented by Swiss Group of Companies. It is the first dryer of this kind in the market and it offers several advantages, especially the advantage of a)dehydrating biomass in a few hours and b) increasing the inner calorific content of the material so as to produce a very inflammable biofuel. The electricity consumed for dehydrating the biomass is by far inferior to the electricity that the dehydrated biomass will generate. BIOMASS ENERGY – Worldwide Exclusive Technology Advantages of the Potentializer Dryer For a power plant ,it is very important to use dry biomass (wood-chips or agricultural wastes) into a furnace, and not humid biomass, because: a) Water causes damaging corrosion of the iron structure of the furnace b) Good part of the biomass is lost during the burning because all the liquids are evaporated instead of being used for the thermoelectric process, so this obliges to add more quantity of biomass, in order to replace the evaporated liquids. c) Dry biomass generates great advantages: ▪Less quantity of biomass for generating heat and electricity in a power plant. ▪More energetic content of the biomass because the absence of water raises the calorific power of organic materials ▪ More quantity of electricity production with the same volume of biomass ▪ Only 5% of water evaporation because the drier drops the moisture down to 5% (from initial 50% to final 5%) . ▪ Less deforestation because with the same quantities of biomass we can produce the double of energy content (see tables annexed hereto) ▪ Less toxic pollution with fossile fuels, like mineral coal, since dehydrated Biomass reaches the same calorific power of coal and does not emit toxines like coal does (see table annexed hereto). ▪ Less harming contamination of agricultural garbage because millions of annual wastes can be transformed into “clean” and energetic biomassl (by sterilization and dehydration)instead of laying on the floor like real mountains of toxic elements during their organic decomposition. ▪ Entitlement to Carbon Credits on replacing mineral coal and other fossile fuels by “clean” fuel. ▪ No corrosion of the furnaces by using wet biomass and no expenditures for repairing iron structures ▪ No expenses for building new bigger cavities and structures of the furnaces because the quantities of biomass are not high (thanks to the elimination of water). ▪ Less quantity of biomass means less diesel pollution with trucks transportation and less diesel and oil use for the production machines and structures. .

See below the economy that a Power Plant will do with potentialized wood-chips generating electricity. 1. LESS QUANTITY OF BIOMASS IS IMPORTANT a) thanks to the dryer, a power plant can use wood-chips fuel in quite less quantities and reduce the expenses. b) Power plants use fossil fuels that are strongly energetic and don’t need big space into the furnace. More Calorific Power a ) The calorific power of the biomass depends on the absence of moisture because water is a delayer of fire, so the lesser moisture the higher inflammability of the biomass. b) The higher the calorific power of biomass the more they can compete with fossile fuel that are very energetic. TIME SAVING the Potentializer Dryer drops down the biomass moisture in only a few minutes while it would take months to dry the material in the open air. Time is precious and each single hour of the dryer’s performance means 2 or 3 tons of biomass that could feed a thermoelectric furnace and generate from 3.825,581KWh to 5.738,372 KWh, namely from 2.754.418,32 KW/month to 4.131,627,84 KW/month. 5 .
