    DocPublisher - How To Publish or Withdraw a Document - Presentation Transcript

    1. How-To: Publish or withdraw a document www.swingsoftware.com 1) To publish a document you need to have a Content Manager role. Log in, click on the Authoring button and open the document that you wish to publish.
    2. How-To: Publish or withdraw a document www.swingsoftware.com 2) Click on the Publish button.
    3. How-To: Publish or withdraw a document 3) In the next window you can view the publishing options. The version number is automatically incremented, but you can change it if needed. 4) Choose whether you want to publish the document immediately or at a future date. 5) Enter a description of the version and click OK.
    4. How-To: Publish or withdraw a document 6) The document has been published. 7) Click on the history tab to view the document history and the changes it went through during the publishing process.
    5. How-To: Publish or withdraw a document www.swingsoftware.com 8) Click on the Contents button and navigate to the Employment folder. Note that the document icon has changed to a white sheet indicating that the document is published and visible to read-only users.
    6. How-To: Publish or withdraw a document www.swingsoftware.com 9) To withdraw a document, go into the authoring mode and open the document you wish to withdraw. 10) In the new window, click on the Withdraw button.
    7. How-To: Publish or withdraw a document www.swingsoftware.com 11) Select a document stage and click OK. The document will be withdrawn and will not be visible to read-only users. Depending on your requriements, the document can go through the review and approval process again or just edited and published again immediately.

      • We withdrew the document and saved it in one of the draft stages again
