    4. Sharing VHS/ DVDs With Your Class  For educational uses, it is legal to use videos without paying royalties  If you have any doubts about whether it can be considered “educational use”, ask permission, and give credit to the author  Usually, if an author doesn’t want their work used, they will just ask you to stop using it
    5. Sharing Web Videos with your Class  Showing your students videos from YouTube and other sites for educational uses are allowed.  http://www.youtube.com/watch? v=AOO_gm8Q3ZI  Uploading videos to these sites for educational purposes might start some arguments though!  http://chronicle.com/wiredcampus/article/1881/fighti  When in doubt, try to stick with videos from educational sites, such as TeacherTube and SchoolTube.
    6. Creative Commons So what if I want my students to create videos, and share them?  Creative Commons allows students to apply their own level of copyright to whatever they create!  There is no better way for students to learn than through experience  http://creativecommons.org/
    7. Remember… If you want your students to respect the work of others, and give due credit, you must show them how to!
