Draw a game board on a white board. Write start and finish on the ends. You can also
write things such as “Back 2 spaces,” “Go ahead 3,” “Miss a turn,” “Roll again” in the
squares. Divide students into groups and give each team a marker (magnet or symbol
drawn on the board). Ask the teams questions, if they get it right, they get to roll the
dice and move their marker that many spaces forward. If they get it wrong, the marker
stays where it is.
Depending on how many squares are on the game board this game can last for 10
minutes to over an hour.
