    • 5. • The velociraptor was a meat-eating dinosaur.
    • 6. • The dinosaurs were a group of prehistoric reptiles that ruled Earth for about 106 million years.
    • 7. • The ancestors of the dinosaurs first appeared about 330 million years ago.
    • 8. • The name dinosaur comes from the term Dinosauria which means terrible lizards.
    • 9. • The biggest ones may have grown 130 feet [40 meters long] and weighed as much as 85 tons [77 metric tons].
    • 10. • Dinosaurs disappeared about 65 million years ago.
