  • • A mom elephant uses their trunks to stroke their babies.
  • Mom elephants get water in their trunks and spraywater on the baby elephant for its shower.
  • Elephants spend most of their dayeating.
  • Elephants hold trunks to hold hands.
  • • They bathe in lakes, rivers and love to roll in mud.
  • • Elephants make many kind of noises to communicate with other elephants.
  • Elephants have long curved teeth called tusks.
  • Elephants don’t ever forget.
  • Elephants have good hearing.
  • ✤ After a mud bath an elephant may cover itself with dirt.
  • ✤ The dirt helps protect animals skin from the insects and sun.
  • Some elephants are scared of people.
