Ashley Ashley Presentation Transcript

  • Dingoes Ashley
  • • Dingoes were brought to Australia long ago by Aborigines.
  • • A dingo is a wild dog that lives in Australia.
  • • Dingoes are about the size of a golden retriever.
  • • Most have yellowish-brown fur.
  • • But some are yellowish-white to black.
  • • Dingoes do not bark much, instead they howl.
  • • Dingoes hunt alone or in family groups.
  • • They hunt and eat wallabies, which look like small kangaroos, but they also kill sheep.
  • • Today dingoes are Australia’s chief beasts of prey.
