      . . . one of the most pressing problems in Nepal

      for 200 children at the Kirantar School, Chitwan Province
      For these chilren, lunch is sometimes the only meal.
    10. Without our help . . .
      5th grade could be the end of an education for 20 of these children.
    11. What we can do to help ---
      $125 per student
      will buy:
      • a used bicycle to travel the 5 miles each way to 6th grade
      • a back pack
      • text books
      • lunch for a full year
      The goal ---
      To develop young mentorsfor the younger children to follow.

      Only 47 of the 81 children in the village attend school.

      Currently – a full-day trip for simple medical treatment.
      The Plan – to build 2 clinics with doctor visits.
