Slide 4: System/Information Engineering & Modeling – //SDLC/S.IEM Software, being a part of a greater whole, necessitates the determination of the requirements of the entire schema and the ascertainment of the software’s role in the plan. A holistic system study becomes a pre-requisite in order to ensure a seamless amalgamation of the software with the remaining constituents of the system like hardware, personnel, etc. The immense importance of the system demands a well-engineered and properly placed system, failing which, it is impossible to derive optimal result. A faulty system may be rectified through re-engineering or fine- tuning in order to be ready for the developers to perform their software requirement analysis.

Slide 5: Software Requirement Analysis– //SDLC/SRA The software requirement or feasibility analysis phase, conducted by onsite by the developers, involves the identification of the problems, needs and limitations of the system on hand, thereby enabling the developers to come up with a documented software solution that will automate the system and fill up the existing gaps. The minutiae of the said document will define the assignments of the resources, financial implications, time schedule and other such nitty-gritty. Slide 6: System Analysis & Design – //SDLC/SAD The System Analysis and Design phase translates into the construction of the logical skeleton of the software to be developed. This would incorporate the process flow, the structure of the software and its finer traits. The stage further elaborates the layers of the software architecture and the patterns of the database and data structure. Any loophole in this critical stage of design and analysis may spell dire consequences during the following phases of development and, therefore, requires close attention and focus.

Slide 7: Code Generation – //SDLC/CD Code generation is the phase where the design (arrived at during the previous phase) is converted into a machine comprehensive language by means of interpreters, compilers, debuggers and other such tools. The choice of the high level language used for coding, be it Java, Pascal, C or C++, is application dependent. The meticulousness of the design will determine the accuracy of the code generated.

Slide 8: Testing – //SDLC/Testing The next step is that of testing the resultant software and identifying the “bugs” or the erroneous moves that may have been made during prior stages. This can be done through the use of existing software tools and procedures used universally or through internally developed software testing tools and procedures that are customized by certain firms to cater suitably to their in-house software development.

Slide 9: Maintenance – //SDLC/Maintenance The software will definitely undergo change once it is delivered to the customer. There can be many reasons for this change to occur. Change could happen because of some unexpected input values into the system. In addition, the changes in the system could directly affect the software operations. WCe Input File Generator The WORLDCATenterprise Input File Generator offers the ability to extract selected portfolio data from an RMS Exposure Database and convert the extracted data into a server-side flat file that can be imported into WORLDCATenterprise (WCe). As a byproduct, the WCe Input File Generator can also be used to generate an RMS EDM file set (three file set) for transmittal to others or to convert portfolio data contained in an RMS EDM file set received from others to an importable WCe flat file.

The product was developed in 1981 and is being worldwide for 25 years. We have developed an online design tool in Flash using Action Script. The tool also interacts with AutoCad & VB to generate the final output. Registered users can login to their accounts and create the custom layouts with the heating plates and save the same for future reference.

Another application for the synchronization of ASA and Microsoft SQL Server 2005 ensures that the actions executed during stored procedure development and process for test cases, despite being run in either ASA or Microsoft SQL Server 2005, are accounted for in both the databases.
