  • 5. Plan #3: The Big Brick Rocket Stove  Developed by the publishers of the Root Simple blog.  A permanent structure.  Requires masonry work.  Instructions are here.  Image credit: Root Simple

  • 8. Plan #6: The Custom Rocket Stove Need something more customized? The Rocket Stove Design Base has a tool for designing your perfect rocket stove. Requires the Firefox browser. Just input the values of the stove you plan to build (or use the sample values), and the tool creates a plan for you. Choose brick or steel as materials.
