    • recorded the survey responses with the ipod touch utilizing the schools wireless internet
    • The use of the technology simplified the survey process by eliminating the need to create paper surveys and Manually tally the results
    • The App created the needed statistical information for the project

    • Theft of a device led to storage in a secure location
    • Location is not convenient to all AP teachers who share the devices
    • AP Statistics instructor must travel upstairs, through the main building, to the annex building, obtain the key to the storage room, and transport the iPods back to her classroom
  • Issues concerning use of IPods
    • IPods are not always properly connected when returned to the docking station
    • The instructor has to check them ahead of time in case they need to be charged before her class uses them

    • The instructor has inadequate time to plan activities
    • The workshops are conducted after school (unpaid); we had no staff development days this year due to furloughs (10 days)
    • Little or no support with instructional resources; she has to find and create her own podcasts, Apps, projects, etc.
