 Can make adjustments  Problems escalated, drop
                                everything and fix!
 „on the fly‟

         +Strengths -Weaknesses
                              narrow room for outside
 A very personal circumstances
  relationship between
you and broker  constant repetition of the

                    The autocratic method
                    can help adhere to
                    regulations, yet relies too
                    heavily on one person.

Editor's Notes

  1. Discuss heater issue – how stakeholders are affected
  2. Talk about tape on heater – “Band-Aid effect”
  3. Be specific about the heater issue the + and -
  4. Ruby: Also talk a little about the autocratic style – who is theone person making decisions??
  5. Ruby: DON’T READ FROM SLIDES! Be prepared here…. Talk about this as YOUR plan, what you are recommending….
  6. VE System goes down despite several complaints – no pro-activeness, plans in place or monitoring
  7. Stakeholders: Recruiters, Hiring Managers, Candidates and New Hires. ROOT CAUSE: need to ask “Why, because” repeatedly until root cause is identified
  8. Being pro-active much better! –checks and balances, performance measurements lacking
  9. Firefighting/reactive: Unprepared, no plan un place. “Fail to plan, plan to fail” Autocratic: “hit by a bus – then what??’”
