  • 2. What`s in my food Your food is made up of Vitamins. Nutrition helps your body grow, work, and stay alive it gives you energy so you can be active . Different types of food contain different types of Nutrients.
  • 3. More about Vitamins Vitamins are Nutrients that is in many foods. They help the human body grow, fight infection and work well. Different people nee different amounts if Vitamins to stay healthy. An average 8 year old girl needs about 25 milligrams of Vitamin C each day and a average 70 man needs 40 milligrams of Vitamins C each day. Different types of food contain different types of Vitamins.
  • 4. More about Vitamins They also have different types of Vitamins. Your body needs to get enough of each vitamin. You need to eat foods that contain Vitamins each day.

  • 6. { Your body Absorbs Vitamins when you digest food. When food breaks down in your stomach, vitamins move through your intestine. The Vitamins then enter your blood. Your body carries Vitamins all around your body. Your body also uses Vitamins in different ways. It needs Vitamins to grow and develop. How does My Body Get Vitamins

Vitamin A helps your eyesight, Vitamin B help you get oxygen, Vitamin C helps you to stay healthy, Vitamin D helps your bones and teeth strong, also Vitamin E helps your eyes, skin and also your liver and some people don’t even know about it but Vitamin K helps your blood to clot What Do Vitamins Do
  • 8. { Vitamin A as I told you helps you to see better. It also helps your body grow and your skin stay healthy. Vitamin B works with a mineral called iron to make your red blood cells. Red blood cells carry oxygen around your body. Vitamin A and B
  • 9. { Vitamin C helps your body fight off infection such as colds. It helps your body heal when its hurt. Vitamin C also makes the wall of your blood vessels strong. Vitamin D helps your body absorb a mineral called calcium. Calcium helps keep your bones and teeth strong. Vitamin C and D
  • 10. { Vitamin e helps keep your eyes skin and liver healthy. It also protects your body from illnesses, such as heart disease. Vitamin K helps to clot When you cut yourself, You bleed. Your blood needs to clot to stop the bleeding. When you cut your finger, blood cells stick together like glue to stop the bleeding. Vitamin E and K
  • 11. { Some people take vitamin supplement, although most people do not need to take the. Supplement can help people who does not have a balanced diet.Taking to much Vitamins can be unhealthy. Vitamin Supplement
