My Ideal Career webinar

 1. 1. My Ideal Career 002 SECRETS AND TIPS FROM TALENTELLE ON HOW TO 1. DISCOVER YOUR TALENT, 2. EXPRESS YOUR PASSION, 3. DESIGN YOUR CAREER AND (YES! YES! YES!) PURSUE IT FEARLESSLY!
 2. 2. The Untouchables

Of the following “Untouchable” careers, only the first two are sustainable in the long run: either you have a unique and special talent to base your career on, or expert and specialized knowledge and/or knowhow:

People with special talents

People with specialized knowledge and knowhow

People spatially or systemically protected (locked in)

People who are self-learners and serial skillers

 3. 3. The Untouchables

People who have a spatially protected jobs (i.e. hairstylists, massage therapists, etc.) will most likely still have a job in the long run, although they won’t make a lot of money since their services are offered personally and cannot be leveraged via technologies, new media, etc.

 4. 4. The Untouchables

As for the last category, the self-learners and serial skillers, it all depends on how strategic (that is, building on their core competence) their learning path and skill acquisition are.

In other words, if their learning and new skills complement each other so as to enable them to create continually integrated and compounded solutions that yield higher-margin offerings, then they are set to become wealthy.

If not, then their intellectual efforts at learning and acquiring new skills might be too diluted to have a lasting strategic impact on their career.

 5. 5. Coming up…

To read the next slides, look for the presentation titled “My Ideal Career 003” in my portfolio of slideshows on Slideshare.net

You can also subscribe to my FREE blogzine (regular value: $800) at www.realtimesuccesssecrets.blogspot.com
