  2. 2. About Beijing Opera <ul><li>Beijing opera was born when the &quot;Four Great Anhui Troupes&quot; came to Beijing in 1790. Beijing opera was originally staged for the court and came into the public later. </li></ul><ul><li>It also called Peking opera </li></ul><ul><li>It is a form of traditional Chinese theatre like a musical and opera. </li></ul><ul><li>The Beijing Opera has a great influence in china. </li></ul><ul><li>It difference between western opera. The Beijing opera combined music, vocal performance, mime, dance and acrobatic. </li></ul>

Qualification of Beijing opera actor <ul><li>At least, actor can show ones appeal after make up. </li></ul><ul><li>Should have a balanced of body. </li></ul><ul><li>Should learn basic of military arts for long time. </li></ul><ul><li>Should can control and stop like a statue. </li></ul><ul><li>They train before they stop the actor. </li></ul>
  4. 4. Character and Make up[Sheng] <ul><li>Sheng : It is man’s character </li></ul><ul><li>No Sheng : Main character of opera, generally acting over forty years man and just pencil eyebrows. </li></ul><ul><li>Mu Sheng : He shows situation of battle and performs a sword dance </li></ul>
