  • 2. What is Divorce?
    • It is the final termination of a marriage, canceling the legal duties and responsibilities of marriage and dissolving the bonds of matrimony between two persons.
    • In most countries, divorce requires the sanction of a judge or other authority in a legal process to complete a divorce.
    • A divorce does not declare a marriage null and void, as in an annulment, but divorce cancels the marital status of the parties, allowing them to marry another.
  • 3. History of Divorce
    • In contrast to the Western world where divorce was relatively uncommon until modern times, divorce was a common occurrence in at least two pre-modern societies: Japan and the Muslim world.
    • India
    • -In India, Divorce and remarriage are legal; however Indian society views a divorced woman harsher than a divorced man. Problems of a divorced woman involve finance, parental support, dowry, child support, security, social stigma and remarriage.
    • Islam
    • -In Islamic law and marital jurisprudence, divorce is accepted and referred to as talaq . However, divorce is considered the most hated of all lawful things in the sight of Allah

    • You might get farther with the before wife.
    • You and your wife can not trust each other anymore
    • It will be hard for you to get a new wife
    • Also, it will be really hard to make new friends because divorcement represents ending but also it is the restarting point of the life.

    • After a divorcement, children might go to
    • whether their mother of father ’ s side.
    • However, they would not talk to their parent as much as before.
    • They could get kind of shocks.
    • They can not concentrate on their job, studying.
    • They might loose self-confidence because they do not have both mother and father.

    • Some possibilities that the children can get into wrong way because they mostly spend time only by themselves
    • There will not be enough adults who are going to take care of the children. (less caring) -> children get into wrong way.
    • They might get angry and have a grudge against their parents after they become an adult.

    • Money
    • -Nowdays, it is really hard to get a job because population is increasing all over the world. So, there ’ s less job. As a result of it, many husbands get kicked out of their jobs. If the time goes on and the husbands still do not have a job, it can be problem
    • Higher Standard of Living
    • -As the time goes on, everything is becoming really expensive even water. So, in order to support their family, husbands have to earn enough money, but it is actually really hard to earn enough money nowdays. So, higher standard of living became world ’ s issuse.

    • Personality
    • -This is the reason why most of husbands and wives get divorced. The personality is really important thing between them, and it ’ s the thing which determines people ’ s marriage lives.
