  4. 4. It has extraordinary vision and mission……… Therefore, the nation has extraordinary expectations from C-DAC and its people……….
  5. 5. Early Morning March 15 th 2010 <ul><li>It was on this background the….. </li></ul><ul><li>The Leaders conceive an intervention </li></ul><ul><li>and give a call to Sunil Misar </li></ul><ul><li>to design develop and deliver an extraordinary intervention……. </li></ul>
  6. 6. Scramble to reach Kishore on Phone <ul><li>Kishore found and dates are available </li></ul>                   ideaz Unlimited
  7. 7. <ul><li>Desperate rush to create an interesting design….. </li></ul><ul><li>Plenty of chatter and teleconferences begins…. </li></ul><ul><li>emails flow thick and fast…. </li></ul><ul><li>To design that unique intervention </li></ul><ul><li>that measures up to everyone’s expectations….. </li></ul>

  9. 9. <ul><li>The First Batch of Fast Forward Lands in God’s Own County……… </li></ul><ul><li>or should we say, </li></ul><ul><li>George’s Own Country! </li></ul>April 15 th 2010
  10. 10. <ul><li>This was an auspicious day of Vishu in Kerala </li></ul><ul><li>and what an auspicious start we had to the longest and biggest intervention in C-DAC </li></ul>
  11. 11. <ul><li>There were some unusual norms </li></ul><ul><li>and some unexpected outcomes….. </li></ul>
  12. 12. Unique design was on the unveil now….. <ul><li>C-DACins were soaking in </li></ul><ul><li>an unique experience….called Fast Forward! </li></ul>Unexpected Genuine Rewards, Expressions and identity through creative work….. sharing and learning through photographs….. Short films……
  13. 13. <ul><li>. </li></ul>There was plenty of midnight oil burnt over the coursework there were some crazy things done participants played hard and prayed a lot for the team’s success
  14. 14. There was plenty of action outside classroom too….. <ul><li>, </li></ul>some relaxed some explored, some partied hard and some chilled out …… Some worked out Hard
  15. 15. <ul><li>across the centers……. </li></ul>shared intimate experiences Participants had fun and forged strong bonds
  16. 16. Then there was shopping to collect memorabilia , novel valedictory sessions and a new beginnings……
  17. 17. <ul><li>The First Batch Of Fast Forward was now on way back </li></ul><ul><li>and the saga of fast Forwards </li></ul><ul><li>was getting across to other C-DACians….. </li></ul><ul><li>Who could imagine this kind of a feedback </li></ul><ul><li>At least not us! </li></ul>

Let me also thank all our colleagues from C-DAC Trivandrum for  the  excellent hospitality  that was extended to all of us during our stay in Trivandrum (They literally converted the famous Sanskrit phrase &quot;Atithi Devo Bhava&quot; into a reality).  </li></ul><ul><li>    If you all recall i had proposed to screen a  clip on the topic &quot;The World is flat&quot; which couldn't be screened for some reasons .The said clip is a lecture delivered at MIT by the author of this book Mr Thomas Friedman, a New York Times columnist. Dear Sir,   Thanks for sharing my views regarding  the Fast Forward with others.  I was really surprised and for a moment I was excited to read my mail shown by our HR person.  Sir, your words have become true.  This is C-DAC.   I am herewith forwarding the mail sent by you to all of  us for giving our feedback.    &quot; C’mon folks that is the way to go forward and push the bar up……..believe me it would just take a few minutes to send in but when it comes back to you would drool over it for hours………like you drooled over Picas Album and it just surprised you!&quot;   After seeing my mail I am  really drooled and it will not be for hours as mentioned in your mail,  it will be there for many more years.   Once again thanks for all support from you and C-DAC members as a whole.   Regards R Guru Prasad
