  • 3. Now the Lord God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed. The Lord God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground—trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Saw it Liked it Took it Ate it GOOD
  • 4. When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. Saw it Liked it Took it Ate it Gave it Sin
  • 5. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one.

  • 10. But thanks be to God, who always leads us in victory through Christ.
  • 11. So I tell you, live the way the Spirit leads you. Then you will not do the evil things your sinful self wants.
  • 12. He made perfect the one who leads those people to salvation. He made Jesus a perfect Savior through his suffering.
  • 13. Whenever you feel tempted to do something bad, you should not say, “God is tempting me.” Evil cannot tempt God, and God himself does not tempt anyone.

  • 16. The only temptations that you have are the same temptations that all people have. But you can trust God. He will not let you be tempted more than you can bear. But when you are tempted, God will also give you a way to escape that temptation. Then you will be able to endure it.

  • 19. The only temptations that you have are the same temptations that all people have. But you can trust God. He will not let you be tempted more than you can bear. But when you are tempted, God will also give you a way to escape that temptation. Then you will be able to endure it.
  • 20. When people sin, they earn what sin pays—death. But God gives his people a free gift—eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
