  • 3. Then the church enjoyed a time of peace. It was strengthened; and encouraged by the Holy Spirit . . .
  • 4. You and I be mutually encouraged by each other's faith.
  • 5. Tychicus will tell you all the news about me. He is a dear brother, a faithful minister, and fellow servant in the Lord. I am sending him to you for the express purpose that you may know about our circumstances and that he may encourage your hearts. He is coming with Onesimus, our faithful and dear brother who is one of you.

  • 7. Tychicus I am sending him to you for the express . . . that he may encourage your hearts.
  • 8. Joseph, whom the apostles called Barnabas (which means Son of Encouragement),
  • 9. Judas and Silas said much to encourage and strengthen the brothers.

  • 21. Through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.
  • 22. Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction.
  • 23. Hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught, so that he can encourage others by sound doctrine
  • 24. warn those who are idle, encourage the timid, help the weak, be patient with everyone.
  • 25. But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin's deceitfulness.
  • 26. Your love has given me great joy and encouragement, because you, brother, have refreshed the hearts of the saints.
  • 27. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
