We all are human, and mistakes will happen
Accept your own mistakes, and others’ too
Do not judge others due to a past mistake
Treat everybody positively irrespective of past

Self Discipline
Before managing others, manage oneself
Getting up early, what to eat, how much to party are examples of small acts of self-discipline
Will to resist the temptation of late night TV, or a few drinks with friends
Learn to say “NO” to focus on more important things
Self Discipline decides whether your goals and resolutions are meaningful or not

Writing a Journal

Keeps my mind uncluttered
Gives me clarity of thought and emotions
Reference for future – I very often read my own articles
Writing has helped me find my own self-expression
Made me aware of different point of views
Writing makes me think better, which makes me write better

French
Learned French for 18 months in 2006-07
I got much more than I expected
Made my outlook more mature due to interaction with a new language, culture and country
I discovered a new world
It was fun learning French, but also challenging

Reading Books
I read one hour daily
Consider reading as important as exercise
Mostly read autobiographies and self-help books
Read fiction and business books sometimes
A book is like viewing life from someone else’s eyes, makes you mature and wise
Gives you perspective about life
Makes you wise and mature
I have a small library now 

Making my own rules
I don’t go well with rules, or conventions of society
I always go with what I feel is right
It is my life, and I am not gonna live it for someone else
No fun in doing things the ‘accepted’ way
I might face some setbacks, but so what?
Not knowing where you are headed can only take you there where you normally can’t get

Helping Others
Gives so much satisfaction and fulfillment
Discovered shades of my character which even I was not aware of
Leading a team professionally helped me develop as a professional
I improved as a human being after being involved in some social activities
I feel more connected with myself after giving my time to others
No better feeling than being the reason for a smile on someone else’s fate

Moving to Bangalore
Moved to Bangalore in 2008 from Delhi
New experiences and learning’s
Interaction with new people, culture and language
Cleared a lot of misconceptions
Found new places to travel 
Got my belief back in values like honesty and integrity
Overall, I am a better human being now. Thanks Bangalore!

Living In Today
Stopped worrying about the past as you can’t change it
Don’t miss the present for past or future
We can’t second guess the future
Plan, and give your best to life
If successful, party. But if not, learn your lessons and move on
Make everybody you meet happier today
Only 24 hrs today, make them count
