  2. Jack-o-lanterns and Pumpkins <ul><li>Lots of people like carving pumpkins into jack-o- lanterns. They set them outside on Halloween night with candles inside. To carve a pumpkin most people start of by cutting of the top. Next they draw a monstrous face on the pumpkin to get their favored design.   3. Trick-or-Treating <ul><li>Trick-or-treating is something that children like to do on Halloween. The fun thing about it is that you get CANDY!!!! Kids get dressed up and go door to door, ring door bells, and say “Trick-or-Treat!” Most people give out fun treats and candy but some people give out money and small toys. </li></ul><ul><li>For more information: </li></ul><ul><li>http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trick-or-treating </li></ul>
  4. Costumes <ul><li>Most kids dress up in scary or funny costumes for Halloween. You can either make them or buy them.   5. Apple Orchard <ul><li>In Poplar Groove, there is a place where you can get fresh apples, fresh doughnuts , and apple cider. It is called Edwards Apple Orchard. It also has a great petting zoo where you can feed farm animals. </li></ul>
  6. The Pumpkin Patch <ul><li>In Caledonia there is a Pumpkin Patch. There is a corn maze, pumpkins for sale, a barn, and wonderful food.   7. History 101 <ul><li>Halloween is a holiday celebrated on October 31 st of each and every year. Its roots are in the Celtic festival of Samhain and the Christian All Saints Day.
